This is the official merchandise shop for the Homer Independent Press (HIP) operated by Skiff Chick Custom Designs. Here you’ll find the current lineup of HIP gear and locally inspired items designed for readers, supporters and friends of independent community journalism.
Every purchase helps support the work of the Homer Independent Press.
Ten percent of every item sold is donated directly to support HIP, helping sustain strong, independent reporting for our community and our local businesses.
All items in the shop are made to order, which means they are produced specifically for you after your order is placed. Items are non-returnable unless a manufacturing defect is identified.
Ordering and Fulfillment Schedule:

Orders placed between the 1st and 15th of the month are expected to be fulfilled and delivered by the 1st of the following month.

Orders placed between the 16th and the end of the month are expected to arrive by the 16th of the following month.
Please note that items are subject to availability. If something you ordered becomes backordered, you will be contacted by email with an estimated restock date.
